Executor Executor is a quick and convenient way to readily run your favorite Windows applications, without the hassles of navigating the Program Manager. Simply include EXECUTOR.EXE in your Start Up Group, and double-click on the Executor icon. You'll then be ready to use the application. A push button with an arrow will appear in the upper left corner of the Windows desktop. Click on this arrow to display the Executor menu. Alt-Space also works if the Executor has focus. > ______________ Close - Closes the Executor application. (saves menu settings automatically) Exit - Exits Windows (prompts you to confirm Exit. saves menu settings automatically ) Add a Menu Item - A dialog box will appear asking you to enter a command line. Type in the path to where your favorite (or well-used) application resides. (80 chars Max., .EXE is assumed) A browse button is also available. From that point, that command line becomes a new menu item in the Executor menu with its associated numeric hot key. NOTE: Applications in the DOS environment path just require entering the program's name. Change Menu Item - A dialog box will appear allowing you to change a menu item by entering it's associated menu number. To remove a menu item, enter the menu number and delete the command line entry. Run a Program - This command is the equivalence of the File->Run command in the Program Manager. Simply type in a path to immediately execute a Windows application. About - Displays author information. Any of the items that you add to the menu can be accessed by keystrokes.
